hey hey hey!
Alright finally all set-up in Fort Mcmurray but not before some snags.
The flight to Fort Mac was pretty uneventful. Although I was privee to some interesting conversations on the flight there. The lady sitting in my row was telling the man beside me about her dating life. Bascially this lady lives in camp, I would say she is in her mid 40's and she's a little rough around the edges. Although her hair-do was a definite mark that there is money to be made in Fort Mac because her hair threw me for a loop, but then her 2 pack a day voice brough me back. So she was going on about how she never dates guys out here because they are usually married but don't tell you. Anyways somehow she ended up with a guy who had been in jail for 8 years for a bank robbery, but "he was honest and told me everything". wtf. she dated him for a while and in the end he somehow conned her into buying him a gold necklace explaining that he had forgot his wallet. (I didn't know that worked for jewllery too, I though that was only a dinner and small ticket item thing, note to self).

Alright so I get to my place, it's super nice. 3 floors, 4 bathrooms, 3 bedroom. Brand new and only me and another girl living here. So we are walking around and then someone is like there is no heat, true we could see our breath inside. No biggie, turn the heat on. Well it turned out to be a big biggie, the pipes were frozen, and the toilet bowls.
Alright call the landlord get it fixed. Turns out we had to leave and move to another place. Bla bla bla, we are back in the original icicle all thawed out and all set up.
If anyone feels the need to visit or keep me company I have a guest bedroom!!!
That's enough for now, off to get dinner in ass-clenching cold weather.
