As this is my last week at Syncrude I have been trying to get in as many tours as I can. Yesterday I went and visited the north mine, it was pretty cool. Although the rough sway of the truck at 2 in the afternoon put me to sleep real good.

The mine with the plant in the background, the yellow stuff are the sulphur piles, it's cheaper to keep them than to sell it at the moment.
Does this scare you away? Ducks are frightened by this....probably more like Greenpeace hippies.
