- When you yell at me while I'm on my bike, no matter how nice or mean, I really can't hear you and I end up spending time trying to figure out what was said and will probably end up ridding into another car door again one day.
- No matter how helpful you think your coment is I'm probably taking it offensively. Like the lady who stopped her car in front of me to tell me where there were better bike routes, that I was getting in her way and "Hey wear a helmet". Helpful right? Maybe. Rage inducing? 100%
Riding a bike
is like raising a child, people feel the need to tell you how to do it no matter what kind of qualifications they may possess. Today was a beutiful day, by Vancouver standards, to ride a bike. So I did. I was thinking to myself while ridding "you know today will be a good bike ridding day, I have my helmet on, my lights are on, no one can yell at me for breaking some kind of rule". This thought was brought on by the numerous times I have been yelled at while ridding my bike. Let me tell you this:
