With the start of the winter Olympics, the town is in full party mode. The opening ceremonies on friday had the town buzzing. I got to watch them from a friend's coworkers' 28th floor apartment. When the flames went off at the end of the ceremonies you could hear the crowds going wild. It's hard to describe the energy but it's palpable.
