I think this may be one of my favorite action shots I've ever taken
It's always sad when these things happen and no one ever knows what to say. Erin died last Sunday in a snowboarding accident on Whistler in Khybers. I met Erin years ago when I lived in Whistler, I got the chance to party with him quite a bit and the one thing that stuck with me was his kindness. Today in Whistler will be his memorial, big group shred followed by a party which I'm sure will last for days. As a testament to his good nature, there will be hundreds of people in attendance. Amanda flew in from Australia yesterday and I know a few more people have flown in from across the country. This week has been hard for many, I know I've been caught crying a few times when talking to friends who knew him well. Although I didn't know him as well as some, it's been hard and sad to watch my friends be so hurt. But today the sun is shinning and it's been snowing so I know that everyone will have an amazing time in Whistler celebrating Erin's amazing life.
