1. Cockroaches appear where you least expect them: my underwear drawer, on the toilet paper roll and generally anywhere it feels like

3. Living without tv or internet is not the end of the world *hugs and kisses blackberry
4. Government owned tv and radio stations do not have adds. Triple J is a pretty good radio station (and tv substitute)
5. Not every Australian has a golden tan (but if I don't come back with one I have failed my country)
